Corona CEO Jeff Borysiewicz sees the rocker as a "natural fit" for the company, and readily acknowledges his "tireless efforts in promoting the Corona brand on the international stage".



In response, Bono has vowed to continue his fight to reverse the negative publicity associated with the fine art of cigar smoking. He also lambasted the sinister forces who, he says, "persist in their misinformation campaign which would portray the humble cigar smoker as an inconsiderate fart-smelling buffoon".

He is expected to start work on Monday week.
